Most messages get a reply within a few business days. The mailbox is monitored by a person, not an autoresponder, so a short, specific message helps a lot.
What to include
You do not need to include anything beyond what is relevant, but the following details make it much faster to act on a report:
- For an incorrect platform limit: the platform name, the figure currently shown, the figure you believe is correct, and a link to the provider's documentation if you have one.
- For a wrong conversion result: the URL of the converter page, the input value and units, the result you got, and the result you expected. The binary/decimal mode toggle accounts for most reported “wrong” results — worth checking before sending.
- For a broken page or layout issue: the URL, your browser and version, and (if possible) a screenshot.
- For a suggestion: the conversion, calculator, platform, or guide you would find useful, and roughly what you would use it for.
What this address is not for
FileSize.org is a reference site and does not provide personal IT support. The mailbox cannot help with:
- Recovering files from a damaged drive or device.
- Account, billing, or upload issues with third-party platforms (Discord, Gmail, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) — those are handled by each platform's own support team.
- Custom file-conversion or compression work on your behalf.
- Link-exchange, sponsored-content, or guest-post offers.
